About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to join a fast-scaling U.S.-based data platform powering critical real estate operations. In this role, you’ll work with a small, high-impact team to automate infrastructure, optimize deployments, and support production systems across cloud-native environments. You'll design scalable tooling to manage cloud, Kubernetes, and data workloads—empowering product, data, and engineering teams to ship with confidence.
About You
● You have experience building and maintaining infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
● You’re passionate about automation, observability, and scaling systems with minimal manual effort.
● You’ve led complex DevOps projects and are comfortable supporting multi-tenant environments.
● You’re collaborative, proactive, and eager to work across teams to solve production challenges.
What You’ll Be Doing
● Automate and standardize deployments and system maintenance across cloud environments.
● Manage and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and Config Connector.
● Design and execute safe procedures for infrastructure updates and incident resolution.
● Support internal teams in architectural decisions and best practices for scaling.
● Lead root cause analysis and incident response for production systems.
● Contribute to GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and observability infrastructure.

Technical Requirements
Must-Haves
● 4+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS).
● Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps workflows (e.g., Flux).
● Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Google Cloud Build.
● Familiarity with monitoring tools like GCP Monitoring and Sentry.
● Strong scripting experience (Python or Node.js).
Nice-to-Haves
● Experience with GraphQL (e.g., Hasura), ETL tools (Airflow), or BI dashboards (PowerBI).
● Knowledge of custom Kubernetes operators and multi-cloud environments.
● Experience with OpenFGA, Auth0, and infrastructure for analytics/data platforms.
