Recruitment process outsourcing at Korn Ferry, Randstad or Cielo is a programme: a multi-year contract to run part or all of an enterprise's hiring, sold to a Chief People Officer through procurement. Nearshore RPO at CodersLink is a pipeline: dedicated Mexico-native recruiters inside an engineering leader's process, for eight or more roles a year. Both are called RPO. They are not the same purchase.
What do enterprise RPO firms actually sell?
Scale, models and geography. Randstad Enterprise publishes six RPO models, from end-to-end to Recruiter on Demand. Korn Ferry states 3,000-plus RPO specialists across 110-plus countries and programmes from 10 to 10,000 hires. Cielo sells full RPO and modular "TA Optimizers". Robert Half and TEKsystems sell contract, permanent and contract-to-perm staffing at onshore scale.
Everything in that table is real capability. If you are hiring 400 people across three continents this year and need Workday optimisation, an employer-brand programme and a VMS integration, Korn Ferry, Randstad or Cielo is the right shape. We offer none of those things, and an engineering leader with eight Mexico roles does not need them.
What does none of them publish?
A price, and a weekly candidate commitment. Enterprise RPO is priced per programme, so a management fee and a per-hire fee are negotiated, not listed. Third-party LATAM benchmarks exist, but no vendor above publishes its own. None publishes how many qualified candidates you will see per open role per week, which is the number an engineering manager actually feels.
We publish structure rather than amounts on RPO: a monthly cost per dedicated recruiter, plus a success fee, on a three-month minimum. And we publish the operating metric: six qualified candidates per position per week, screened to your own hiring bar. That figure is the commitment, in writing, and it is the thing to hold us to.
What does CodersLink Nearshore RPO look like in numbers?
Eight or more roles a year, a three-month minimum, six qualified candidates per position per week, and a 90-day replacement warranty on RPO and Direct Hire. Recruiters are Mexico-native and work under your employer brand, in your ATS, to your bar. You employ the engineer directly; the RPO is the engine, not the employer.
Two things make that engine different from a generalist recruiter with a Mexico search. First, the community: a community of 45,000 engineers in Mexico, of whom roughly 300 hold the Top 1% Standard at any one time, built over eleven years of outbound to engineers who were not looking; a fresh search starts from a warm relationship, not from a job board. Second, the data: the Mexico Tech Salaries Report 2026, 10,246 verified respondents across 36 roles and 32 states, so every offer your team makes is benchmarked before it goes out.
What does an RPO engagement look like at a product company?
Pinterest built a Mexico engineering team of 22 engineers in twelve months through CodersLink Nearshore RPO: iOS, Android, front-end, full-stack and QA roles, hired onto Pinterest's own payroll under its own brand. The recruiters operated as an extension of Pinterest's talent team; the engineers were hired by Pinterest, not by a vendor.
That last point explains something a buyer will notice when they look us up: our public review count is modest. In RPO we work under the client's brand, and a company whose engineers believe they were hired by an internal team has good reason not to post a vendor review. It is a deliberate trade. Clients who will not post publicly will usually take a reference call; ask us for one.
How does Robert Half's guarantee compare with CodersLink's?
On permanent placement they are at parity, and we say so. Third-party readings of Robert Half's pages describe a 90-day replacement guarantee subject to terms and conditions; our RPO and Direct Hire warranty is also 90 days. Confirm what applies to your specific contract with either firm. Where we differ is on Staff Augmentation, where replacements are unlimited and free with no time limit.
The other difference is geography and price structure. Robert Half publishes no nearshore offer; its technology staffing is onshore-heavy, priced as a percentage of compensation or an hourly bill rate. Nearshore RPO exists precisely for the roles you have decided to hire in Mexico, with recruiters who live in the market and know what a senior engineer in Querétaro will accept.
Should you use RPO or staff augmentation?
RPO when you want the engineers on your own payroll and have the volume to justify a dedicated recruiting engine: eight or more roles a year. Staff Augmentation when you want to start with one or two seniors next month, on a monthly rate, with the contract held by CodersLink. Most clients start with Staff Augmentation and add RPO when volume justifies it.
The ladder is the point: Staff Augmentation to start, MESHubs to scale a dedicated hub, Nearshore RPO when hiring volume outpaces your team. Same selection standard, same partner, no re-sourcing between stages. A programme RPO cannot graduate into a staffing engagement; ours does, in both directions.
Pick an enterprise RPO firm when
- You are running a global hiring programme measured in hundreds or thousands of hires.
- You need onshore badges, clearance, or MSP/VMS integration.
- You want employer-brand, TA-transformation or ATS-optimisation consulting bundled in.
- Procurement is running the selection and a 110-country footprint matters.
Pick CodersLink when
- You are an engineering leader with eight or more Mexico roles this year and no local pipeline.
- You want a weekly candidate commitment in writing, not a programme SLA.
- You want the engineers on your own payroll, hired under your brand, benchmarked to Mexico data.
- You may later want Staff Augmentation or a hub from the same partner.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between RPO and staff augmentation?
In RPO the partner recruits and you hire the engineer onto your own payroll; in staff augmentation the partner holds the engineer's contract and you pay a monthly rate. CodersLink offers both: Nearshore RPO for eight or more roles a year on a three-month minimum, Staff Augmentation for the lowest commitment in the stack.
How much does RPO cost?
Enterprise RPO firms do not publish pricing; programmes are negotiated. CodersLink publishes the structure: a monthly cost per dedicated recruiter, plus a success fee, on a three-month minimum. Your figures are in writing before you start.
Does CodersLink offer a replacement guarantee on RPO?
Yes: a 90-day replacement warranty on Nearshore RPO and Direct Hire. Third-party readings describe a comparable 90-day guarantee at Robert Half, subject to terms; confirm what applies to your contract. On Staff Augmentation the term is different: unlimited and free for the life of the engagement.
How many candidates will we see per role?
Six qualified candidates per position per week, screened to your own hiring bar, is the Nearshore RPO commitment. Enterprise RPO firms do not publish a weekly candidate commitment.
Is Nearshore RPO only for large companies?
No. It is built for engineering leaders hiring eight or more roles a year in Mexico. Pinterest used it to build a team of 22 engineers in twelve months; smaller teams typically start with Staff Augmentation and add RPO when volume justifies a dedicated recruiting engine.
Why does CodersLink have fewer public reviews than large RPO firms?
In RPO we work under the client's brand, so many clients choose not to publish a vendor review. It is a deliberate trade. Clients who will not post publicly will usually take a reference call; ask for one.

Every competitor term above was read on the vendor's own site on 5 September 2026 unless marked third-party. "Does not publish" means we could not find the term stated publicly; it does not mean the term does not exist. Vendors change terms; re-check before you sign.
