IN A NUTSHELL

Easy Expunctions used CodersLink to extend its development team with remote Mexico-based programmers rather than hand product development to a separate outsourced team. Solution

Our Approach

In short: CodersLink provided remote engineering capacity that operated as an extension of Easy Expunctions’ development organization. The client retained ownership of product priorities and day-to-day engineering work while CodersLink supported access to, staffing of, and continuity for Mexico-based developers.

Phase 1  —  Define the engineering need :

  • Aligned on the need for remote software development capacity.

  • Focused the search on developers who could integrate into client-led product work.

  • Supported both junior and senior developer needs.

  • Structured the engagement around staff augmentation rather than project outsourcing

Phase 2 —  Source and integrate developers:

  • Sourced and screened developers in Mexico.

  • Presented talent for Easy Expunctions’ evaluation and selection.

  • Supported onboarding into the existing development workflow.

  • Integrated remote developers under the company’s own engineering team

Phase 3 — Support ongoing capacity:

  • Maintained access to developers as product needs evolved.

  • Supported engineering work across multiple internal projects.

  • Provided flexibility to adjust development capacity over time.

  • Continued staffing and developer support around the engagement

Key decision:  Easy Expunctions kept product ownership and technical direction inside its own organization while adding remote developers as an extension of the internal engineering team.
