Solutions Engineer — Mexico

About the Role

• We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to join the Technical Consulting team at a U.S.-based AI-powered advertising technology platform. Based in Ciudad de México, México, you'll design, build, and support custom integrations, tooling, and technical solutions that extend platform capabilities for enterprise customers and agency partners — working at the intersection of engineering, consulting, and customer success.
• This is a hands-on technical role with real product impact. You'll work directly with customer engineering teams, internal Product and Engineering, and Technical Consulting to deliver scalable solutions that drive customer adoption and strengthen the platform.

About You

• You have strong experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting, and you've built production-quality integrations and APIs that solve real customer problems.
• You're comfortable with modern cloud infrastructure — AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications aren't just concepts, they're part of how you ship.
• You thrive in technically ambiguous environments and can work through complex customer

• Design, build, and maintain custom integrations between the Smartly platform and customer or agency systems using APIs and cloud technologies.

Technical Requirements

• Partner with customer engineering, operations, and implementation teams to support solution design, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Technical Consulting-owned applications and internal tooling.
• Improve the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of existing solutions by reducing technical debt and modernizing legacy implementations.
• Support infrastructure and deployment across Technical Consulting-owned systems including Kubernetes, AWS, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, serving as an escalation point for customer implementations and platform integrations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to develop tactical solutions that accelerate customer adoption and address strategic needs.
• Contribute to engineering best practices through documentation, testing, code reviews, and operational improvements.

Must-Haves

• Proven experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
• Hands-on experience designing and building APIs and system integrations.
• Strong programming skills with the ability to deliver maintainable, production-quality code.
• Experience with modern cloud infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications.
• Experience supporting enterprise software implementations or technical consulting engagements.

Nice-to-Haves

• Background in AdTech, MarTech, SaaS platforms, or digital advertising technologies.
• Experience with enterprise integration environments and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with DAM systems or reporting and data connectivity integrations.
• Experience modernizing or refactoring legacy technical implementations.
