- We're looking for a Solutions Consultant to serve as the technical and strategic backbone of Smartly's commercial operation in Mexico — a market we are building from scratch. You'll partner closely with the Account Executive as a co-owner of the sales cycle, leading pre-sales discovery, designing tailored platform solutions, and ensuring prospects clearly understand the business value Smartly delivers across creative, media, and intelligence.
- This is not a support role. You'll be in the room from the first demo to the C-level close — and you'll help shape the playbook as you go.
- You have 5+ years in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or a related pre-sales role within AdTech, MarTech, or B2B SaaS, and you've owned the technical dimension of complex sales cycles.
- You're fluent in advertising technology and native ad platforms — particularly Meta, TikTok, and Google — including campaign workflows, automation, and creative formats.
- You translate platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes, and you're equally comfortable presenting to a performance manager or a CMO.
- You bring consultative instincts and commercial judgment, not just technical depth.
- You're energized by building something from the ground up in a market with real growth potential.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and deliver tailored platform demos across Meta, TikTok, Google, and Pinterest — translated to each customer's specific business challenges.
- Design and scope complex workflows and platform configurations aligned to customers' marketing goals, operating models, and creative and media strategy.
- Act as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, partnering with the Account Executive to shape proposals, respond to RFPs, and advance deals.
- Educate prospects and clients on platform best practices, building confidence and accelerating time-to-value.
- Bridge the gap between platform capabilities and business impact — communicating effectively with both marketing leaders and operational users.
- Contribute proactive insights on digital marketing trends, platform updates, and advertiser behavior in Mexico to inform GTM strategy alongside the LATAM leadership team.
- A consultative mindset — you ask the right questions, listen carefully, and design solutions that actually fit the customer's reality.
- Comfort operating in a startup-within-a-company environment where processes and playbooks are still being written.
- Strong ability to build trusted relationships quickly in high-stakes, fast-moving sales cycles.
- Genuine curiosity about the evolving digital advertising landscape and how platforms are changing the way brands operate.
- 5+ years in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or pre-sales within AdTech, MarTech, or B2B SaaS.
- Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Ads — including campaign automation, creative formats, and platform APIs.
- Proven ability to scope customer challenges using platform APIs, catalog integrations, and automation features.
- Fluency in Spanish and professional-level English.
- Commercial acumen: demonstrated ability to connect platform features to business outcomes such as revenue growth, operational efficiency, and creative performance.
- Hands-on experience with the Smartly platform.
- Background on a performance marketing team in-house or at a digital consultancy.
- Existing familiarity with the Mexican digital advertising ecosystem — agencies, media groups, or major brand advertisers.
