Engineer Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join a Product & Engineering organization at a U.S.-based advertising technology company. In this role, you’ll lead a full stack team developing next-generation AI workflows that power creative automation and performance marketing. You’ll play a key role in shaping both the technical direction and the team’s growth, ensuring high-quality delivery while fostering a strong engineering culture.

About You

• You have experience leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams. You are comfortable being hands-on when needed, supporting your team through technical challenges. You have experience building large-scale, high-availability systems. You enjoy mentoring engineers and helping them grow professionally. You collaborate effectively with Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and grow a full stack engineering team, fostering autonomy and accountability. Define and drive technical direction in collaboration with cross-functional partners. Deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions aligned with product goals. Coach and mentor engineers through 1:1s, feedback, and career development plans. Remove blockers and create an environment where the team can perform at its best. Participate in architectural decisions and contribute hands-on when needed. Promote best practices in software development, agile processes, and engineering culture. Technical Requirements

Must-Haves

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead Strong background in Node.js and TypeScript Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures Experience working across the full software development lifecycle Hands-on experience with React or full stack development Strong understanding of system design and architecture

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka Experience working with AI-driven products or data-intensive systems Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
