Account Executive — Brazil

$106,500 MXN/mes brutos

7-9 años de exp. Remoto Full time

About the Role

  • We're looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to build and grow Smartly's commercial presence in Brazil. Based in São Paulo, you'll identify, develop, and close new business with enterprise brands, agencies, and advertisers — combining strategic market development with consultative selling to bring an AI-powered advertising platform to some of Brazil's largest and most innovative organizations.
  • This is a greenfield opportunity with real scope. You'll shape how Smartly enters and grows one of Latin America's most dynamic digital advertising markets.

About You

  • You have a proven track record in enterprise SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, or media sales, consistently exceeding targets in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • You know the Brazilian digital advertising ecosystem deeply — brands, agencies, holding companies, media groups, and how enterprise buying decisions actually get made.
  • You bring existing relationships with senior decision-makers across enterprise advertisers or agencies in Brazil.
  • You're a consultative seller who can engage credibly with practitioners and C-level executives in the same conversation.
  • You're fluent in Portuguese and communicate professionally in English.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with leading enterprise brands and advertisers across Brazil.
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies to establish Smartly's commercial presence in a high-growth market.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive outbound, networking, and collaboration with Sales Development Representatives.
  • Lead full sales cycles from discovery and solution presentations through commercial negotiations and contract execution.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to deliver a seamless experience from first conversation through onboarding.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales to refine go-to-market strategy, identify priority verticals, and strengthen agency partnerships.
  • Represent Smartly at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to build brand presence across the Brazilian advertising ecosystem.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasts, and account plans while working toward quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Travel within Brazil and across the region as needed for customer engagement and industry events.

What We're Looking For

  • A hunter with the discipline to build pipeline and the consultative instincts to close enterprise deals across long, complex cycles.
  • Deep comfort operating in evolving, high-growth environments where market strategies and processes are still being shaped.
  • Strong executive communication skills — you build trust with C-level stakeholders and serve as a genuine strategic advisor.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to operate with autonomy in a market-building role.

Technical Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Proven enterprise sales experience in SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, digital marketing technology, or media, with a track record of exceeding quota.
  • Experience developing new markets or expanding commercial operations, ideally in Brazil or other emerging markets.
  • Deep knowledge of the Brazilian digital advertising ecosystem: enterprise brands, agencies, media groups, and enterprise buying processes.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through contract close.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Established senior-level relationships across enterprise brands, agencies, or holding companies in Brazil.
  • Familiarity with paid social platforms and creative automation workflows.
  • Experience selling to both agency and direct brand stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Regional network beyond Brazil relevant to future LATAM expansion.
