Role and responsibilities:
As a senior full-stack engineer at DreamFlare, you’ll help us create a one-of-a-kind high-end
content platform enabling interactions between users and content creators. You’ll design a
full-stack application and back-end components of a scalable content platform.
● Architecting, developing and maintaining server-side components.
● Maintaining and improving the health of our central database and ensuring service
responsiveness and scalability.
● Working closely with engineering peers to propose solutions to known-problems, as well
as to identify new areas of opportunities and drive projects from inception to completion
and beyond.
● Working collaboratively with the engineering team and product leaders to design and
build high-quality solutions
● Writing efficient, reusable, and testable code used in high-performance applications.
● Documenting engineering processes.
● You will be a key player in building web software for a consumer platform that is
trailblazing the intersection of AI entertainment and creator economy.
Necessary qualifications:
● 5+ years of experience as a Node.js engineer
● 5+ years of experience with Typescript
● 5+ years of experience with SolidJS (or modern UI libraries: React, VueJS, etc)
● Extensive knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5
● In-depth knowledge of Node.js frameworks such as Express.js and NestJS
● In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, frameworks, libraries, and web stacks
● Experience with NoSQL databases (eg: MongoDB, DocumentDB)
● Experience in REST API design and system architecture
● Portfolio of successfully released web applications with a focus on frontend experience.
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills (team player, self-motivated, fast learner)
Nice-to-have qualifications:
● Experience in the gaming or entertainment industries
● Experience in building video-content platforms and web experiences
● Experience in building content-focused or consumer-focused platforms
● Experience in cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code (IaC)
● Experience in working on a startup environment
● Experience in building fast, iteratively and owning parts of the stack
● AI enthusiast with experience in building or working with AI-powered products
