Senior Back End Developer

Description
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience at a digital-first agency/consultancy a strong plus
- Expertise in Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Python, object-oriented programming, MVC frameworks, API development, and web development
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and building REST APIs using Serverless and Nuxt frameworks required
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and related technologies
- Familiarity with Agile development practices, coding standards, version control, and build/regression testing processes
- Proven experience developing scalable websites and web applications
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs
- AWS experience preferred
- A keen attention to detail and accuracy; exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Enthusiastic and solution-oriented, with the ability to identify and understand problems, build team consensus, and work toward effective solutions
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; flexible and readily adaptable to changing circumstances
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical topics to a variety of audiences
- Experience working with Confluence, Jira, or similar tools
- A fast learner; proven success picking up new technologies and tools quickly and proficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Digitally-savvy and well-informed of digital and analytics innovations, trends, and technologies
- eCommerce experience a plus
- Familiarity with eCommerce-adjacent platforms (PIM, CPQ, DAM, etc.) a plus
- Experience with CMS platforms such as AEM or Drupal a plus
- Ideal candidates will hold a 2- or 4-year degree in Computer Science or Engineering, be a bootcamp graduate, or self-taught with relevant hands-on experience
