Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced SAP Project Manager/Business Analyst with a strong background in supporting SAP systems and managing project life cycles. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP modules, processes, and best practices, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage projects effectively and support teams. Must have experience working with a SAP Service Delivery model.
Some of the main responsibilities are to:
1. Project Management:
- Client facing Lead supporting post implementation stability, hyper care, and ongoing project development as the liaison between client and the SMC India GCC delivery teams.
- Supporting project plans, timelines, and possibly budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives as assigned by the client.
- Coordinate resources, tasks, and deliverables to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. Includes talent review, interviewing, and hiring of India-based GCC team members.
- Manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project success. Escalates as appropriate to SMC Leadership and Client Leadership.
- Communicate project status, progress, and key metrics to stakeholders, keeping them informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Responsible for project dashboards, kpis and building governance report outs on an ongoing basis.
2. Business Analysis:
- Support the gathering and analyzing business requirements related to SAP systems and processes, facilitates stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
- Monitors the SMC GCC team as they implement and configure SAP solutions, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that SAP solutions meet business requirements and deliver the expected value to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within SAP systems, driving continuous enhancement initiatives.
3. Support Team Management:
- Provide leadership and guidance to support teams responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting SAP systems and applications.
- Participate in the establishment and enforcement of support processes, procedures, and SLAs to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Monitor support team performance and productivity. Works with India GCC leadership in identifying areas for improvement and implementing training and development programs as needed.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex issues and challenges, working closely with support teams to resolve issues and restore service operations.
- Foster a collaborative and customer-centric culture within the support team, promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing, and excellence in service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong experience (10+ years) in SAP implementation, configuration, and process design across multiple modules.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, SAP BW/BI, etc. ncluding S4 Hana.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP best practices, methodologies, and integration points between SAP modules.
- Proficiency in process modeling tools such as SAP Solution Manager, ARIS, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management experience and certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a must.
- SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is desirable.
