About the Role
As a Software Engineer (Contract-to-Hire), you will play a critical role in designing and
building applications and integrations with major marketing platforms like Facebook, X (formerly
Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. Your contributions will directly impact our marketing
analytics, campaign automation, and data integration capabilities, enabling our marketing team
to create personalized campaigns to promote properties effectively.
This role requires an engineer who can own the end-to-end development process—from
designing APIs to implementing integrations and ensuring seamless deployment. Your work will
enable locqube customers (homeowners) to automate posts, reels, stories, and more across
social media platforms, enhancing their marketing reach and efficiency
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and integrations to enable locqube
customers to publish posts, reels, stories, and other content directly to social media
platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
- Develop tools to automate personalized marketing campaigns based on user behavior,
property details, and audience segmentation to help promote properties effectively.
- Implement OAuth, webhooks, and SDKs to facilitate secure and seamless social
media integrations, ensuring that locqube can manage posts on behalf of users with
proper authorization.
- Create and manage event-driven architectures to automate campaign triggers based
on user actions or property updates.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to translate business requirements
into scalable technical solutions that support multi-channel marketing strategies.
- Optimize cloud-based services on AWS or GCP for hosting marketing integrations,
ensuring high availability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA) and
social media platform policies for data handling and API usage.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and refine integration pipelines to ensure reliability and
scalability as user volume grows.
- Document API endpoints and integration flows clearly to enable efficient
collaboration with other developers and stakeholders
Qualifications
- At least five years of software development experience with proficiency in JavaScript,
Python, or Golang.
- Proven experience in API development (RESTful and GraphQL) and integration best
practices, specifically with social media platforms.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth, webhooks, SDKs, and handling third-party API rate limits
and error management.
- Experience with event-driven architecture using pub/sub models and message
queues like AWS SNS, SQS, or Kafka.
- Proficiency in cloud services (AWS), including serverless architecture, API Gateway,
Lambda, and RDS.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager,
HubSpot, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, etc.) and tracking UTM parameters and
user behavior across channels.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitHub for managing
deployment workflows.
- Solid understanding of data compliance standards and security best practices.
