About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and communicative IT Support Specialist to provide technical support for smal businesses in united states. This is a full-time remote role with a focus on helping non-technical users solve everyday IT issues while growing skills in IT security and automation. Responsibilities: Provide IT support and troubleshooting for computers, software, printers, and other devices. Manage and update a Kanban board of IT tasks, collaborating with the client to resolve issues efficiently. Assist with basic IT security and system management tasks over time. Document issues and resolutions clearly, ensuring follow-through until completion.

Technical Requirements

● 3+ years of experience in customer support, working directly with clients to provide assistance and resolve issues.
● Strong communication skills, with patience and the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, clear way.
● Prior experience in general IT support (even if not highly technical).
● Knowledge of Google Workspace and Windows.
● Familiarity with automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) or a strong interest and willingness to learn these skills for small tasks.
● Clear communicator with excellent English. Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
● Experience with traditional end-user support: Windows/macOS basics, slow machines, Wi-Fi, browsers/extensions, peripherals.
● Strong documentation skills and reliability.
● Reliable remote work setup and commitment to long-term stability.
