The Team: The Company data management team designs and develops solutions in Oracle and AWS environments, defines best practices, and provides guidance to other project teams on their solutions.  The automotive data management team is a tight knit groups that tackles some of the most interesting challenges in the organization.  The work is varied and the growth and learning opportunities are endless. We pride ourselves on being a highly collaborative team that makes the most of the unique skills each team members brings.  The Impact: The Business Analyst resource will be responsible for elicitation, documentation, maintenance and tracking of requirements at all levels.  This resource will be responsible for planning and execution of quality assurance tasks to validate system functionality.  This resource will also be responsible for documentation and knowledge transfer as part of promotion to production and transition to operational support.  This role will have the opportunity to interface with teams throughout the automotive space and impact the success of a variety of products. Responsibilities: Business Analysis Lead requirements gathering sessions with business customers. Document business requirements, utilizing the method that best fits the business need, e.g., MS Word document, uses cases, wireframes.  Analyze and gain acceptance of business requirements. Work with technical leads to decompose business requirements into functional requirements and technical specifications, including data mappings.  Identify and capture non-functional requirements. Create process and data flow diagrams. Execute current state / future state analysis.  Create business and data process flow diagrams as required to clearly communicate requirements or approach. Execution of gap analysis for project scope and impact analysis for technical changes. Execute requirements management, including change management and traceability. Data Analysis Perform data analysis to identify trends and/or data processing rules. Provide results of analysis in an easily consumable format such as scorecards, spreadsheets, and specifications. Validation Plan and execute validation for new solutions including identification of testing types, documentation and execution of test cases, test tracking. Perform root cause analysis on potential issues. Other Work with other teams and developers to create scalable and sustainable solutions. Facilitate communication between internal and external business and technical teams. Create other documentation such as training material, process documentation, operational support documents and standard operating procedures. Transition processes to operational support. Create cut-over plan and release notes.  Lead execution of cut-over. Create presentations to facilitate communication of project approach, requirements, or data scenarios, as needed.
