As part of the Finance team, the Accounting and Payroll Specialist is responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting and payroll services by maintaining accounting records in the system to be able to issue financial reports and covering all payroll-related processes. Some of the main responsibilities are to: Supporting CL end-to-end payroll process ranging from executing payroll system, reconciliation and validation, sending for approval and authorization, preparing bank file and posting payroll reports. Maintain personnel database regarding salaries and oversee salary changes, invoicing, exchange rates, deductions, bonus , etc. Subject matter expert for all payroll matters; will assist payroll team, benefits team, and employees for all payroll related matters and inquiries. Payments executions and transactions categorization. Accounting reconciliations. Journal entries for provisions on MEC (Month end close) and throughout the month. Financial statements preparation through the necessary bookings in Quickbooks Online with constant supervision and review. Review Pending AR and client email invoicing reminders using templates. Serving as a liaison with payroll vendors for financial matters.
